1112466 2010-06-22 12:24:00 My Windows snipping tool is not working - it used to work perfectly before.

How do I reinstall it?

OS: Win 7 Ultimate.

The snipping tool is already installed but is not working. Have tried to turn if off from 'Turn Windows features on or off' and then turned it back on but still doesn't work.

Any ways to reinstall this tool?

1112469 2010-06-22 22:56:00 This might sound silly but its not -- What version of Office are you using (if at all). If you have office 2007

# Launch an Office 2007 application, such as Microsoft Word 2007.
# Click the Microsoft Office logo button in the top, left corner of the application window.
# Click the application options button, such as Word Options.
# In the Word Options dialog box, select Resources in the menu on the left.
#Click Diagnose on the right.

Once its finished try the snipping tool again.

Office 2007 has been known to break the snipping tool.

When I click to launch the snipping tool, error message says that the snipping tool is not working on your computer right now, restart to try again, etc. etc.

Restarted Win7, still the same.

1112473 2010-06-23 05:39:00 I know you have tried in Windows Features, but it may pay to check
that the tablet pc optional components feature is on as well,
as the snipping tool is a part of that (in my Vista, anyway)

1112474 2010-06-23 05:42:00 Did you try uninstalling, then reinstalling office?? For some, this is the only way you can fix this prob. Or go to control panel / highlight its entry then click on repair. This seems to fix it for some as well Speedy Gonzales (78)

Uninstalled and re-installed Office 2007 -- doesn't fix the problem!:badpc:
