1112394 2010-06-22 08:52:00 What's your favourite (free) virtual desktop manager for Windows (XP and higher)?

I'm trying to find a virtual desktop manager that will allow me to set up my secondary monitor so that it has virtual desktops - i.e. primary monitor should have one normal desktop (where I keep my mail client, documentation, and other "common" apps open at all times) and my secondary monitor should have 4 virtual desktops so I can easily segregate multiple groups of open applications.

It's not uncommon for me to have 20-30 windows open concurrently during any given business day, as I'll have things running somewhere which require an application to be left open; various Citrix sessions etc.

Up until now I've been using the XP Powertoy Virtual Desktop Manager (www.microsoft.com) but it doesn't let you apply it to only one monitor, and takes a while to switch between desktops.

Somebody you may want to check out VirtuaWin or Virtual Dimension, they're both opensource virtual desktops for WinXP, and both appear to be nicer than the powertoy.
