| 820529 | 2009-10-14 17:48:00 | Just on the news the NZ govt is going to have to borrow $250 million a week for the next few years. Wow that is a lot ! It shows how far in the **** we are. Obviously with the downturn there is less company tax. Less paye as people are earning less And dole payments are going up ! What I would like to now is why National is not doing much to really boost NZ on the international scene so that our economy grows so the govt gets more money that way. They seem to be playing around at the edges. Better than Labour tho. |

Yes that is true, but there was a global depression when National was in, then things picked up and Labour were able to pay the debt back, but then they did nothing to build NZ up. |
