Things change as you may come across road works or a load of sheep plodding down the road. What part of Wellington are you going to and what part of Auckland are you leaving from? Also what time are you intending to travel? |

| 820502 | 2009-10-14 09:35:00 | Seriously, take SH2 then turn right onto SH27 to Tirau. SH1 to Tokoroa, then SH 32 via west arm of Taupo to Turangi, then SH 1 to Wellington. That way you avoid Hamilton, Cambridge and Taupo :) |

That way you avoid Hamilton, Cambridge and Taupo :) Sigh. If in Auckland you would start on SH1 would you not? Agreed that you should go through part of Tokoroa and turn right. Don't forget to call in for a coffee. |
