I don't see anything.

I could tether with Win2k & XP in 2004 with an nokia 6600 (via a bluetooth dongle and nokia software). Makes no sense to me, kPPP will tether in every linux distro as well. I don't see any realistic use of Android on anything that ain't a PDA/smart phone.

Yeah - this is a first attempt to get it onto netbooks. Pity they chose Acer... Talk about shooting yourself in the foot!
