The advertisements won't cover the first few pages.

No point in developing one ;p

819100 2009-10-11 01:49:00 tks the reason I ask is that just upgraded to an N85 and have enjoyed the 'web on the go experience' as ronyville says the Herald is a good example. When I wanted to check a thread on F1 it was just to cumbersome. georgenz (11379)
819101 2009-10-11 01:56:00 Maybe someone like Erayd could come up with a CSS based hack to make the forum phone-friendly? somebody (208)
819102 2009-10-11 01:58:00 Its not quite as easy to fluff around with CSS etc on the iPhone like you can in Firefox with extensions ;)

Have put this idea under the "Suggestions for PF1 Upgrade" thread though for the meeting in a week or two, I like the sounds of it, coz right now PF1 is a dog on the phone :(

It's not quite that simple. Phones are a lot more fussy than (say) Firefox. ;) Also I'm not sure how well phones do with CSS.

819104 2009-10-11 02:06:00 This may be against the PF1 ToS, but couldn't you have a "proxy" type site that reskins the forum using a different stylesheet, and strips out the unnecessary code from the page? That way you'd have to access the forum through another domain, but it'd apply the CSS "patch" regardless of what browser you have on your phone. somebody (208)
