| 820054 | 2009-10-14 19:28:00 | I have several Austrian friends and I nearly married an Austrian girl a few years ago they are extremely friendly much more so than your average German, having spent time living in both places i should know I have lived in Austria also, and friendly as people may seem, there is certainly plenty of prejudice against Spaniards, Greeks, Turks, Hungarians, the Czech, etc along with general xenophobic outlines, and it's quite open, while as in German it's all hushed up because of "you know who" and "you know what". Remember Jörg Haider he was on his way to a grand comeback, surely that says something. The far right is doing ok In Austria at the moment. I hope we dont have to kick their ass a third time in living memory. The first time was out of some silly racial tensions. teh lulz ? Ken It's a meme of sorts. As in "for a laugh". |
