SHe didn't get that far. Don't know if she would have or not.....

No, that's not correct.

For example, TradeMe don't require the security code.

I have also used my c/c for goods online without being asked for the code, and often for various travel bookings

Got a new card, new #, old card has been blocked.

Thing is that card, I hardly used it cos I have my BNZ GlobalPlus. The Kiwibank, I have only used it like 3 or 4x.
Maybe 1x Shell petrol, 1x NZ chainstore for a outdoor duvet jacket and 1x on the internet with a "pricespy" parallel imported electronic store.

I won't name names but I suspect it is that. Cos the NZ Mobile Phone chainstore had a Asian name on it "LIM", maybe the owner of that franchise business is Asian. The perhaps Asian thieves may target Asian stores who knows ...
