| 819852 | 2009-10-12 19:09:00 | Didn't one of those TV psychics say she was "in a ditch, hole" a couple of days ago? Oh yes and I'm sure she'll milk it for all she can. Never mind thats totally vague and not in the slightest help. Ditch - storm water drain, ditch - creek, ditch - whatever Not one "psychic" has ever found anyone, dead or alive. Why doesn't this ***** tell the cops where to find Iraena Ashers body then? |

Why doesn't this ***** tell the cops where to find Iraena Ashers body then? x2, it's a crock of ****. www.stuff.co.nz That's a really good article IMO. Sensing Murder is a franchise that has been running in several countries for years, and is notable for having failed to solve a single case. Here it has provided no new information to New Zealand police, which means its sole purpose is to exploit the vulnerability of the families of murder victims for the purposes of entertainment. Given the show's strike rate, it's no surprise that none of its psychics have taken up Christchurch businessman Tony Andrews' offer of $20,000 if they can prove their paranormal abilities in a simple test. Last year, Eating Media Lunch replayed a sting by Australia's Channel 7, in which Ms Webber managed to communicate with three dead people who didn't exist. She has developed a far slicker act since then, and her appearance on Breakfast was a masterwork in sidestepping, fudging, evasion and prevarication. Ms Webber claimed to be on the show not to sell more tickets, but to alert people to the fact that "the consciousness of the earth is changing". Fear is out, love is in, and karma is going to "hit you in the face". {snip} BREAKING NEWS 8:15AM Drain searched at least three times before Aisling's body found: police ... {snip} So either the police did a bad job (in this case highly unlikely), or someone hid her, waited until the initial search was complete and then dumped her body in an area already searched. :angry |

Too right. If you take enough guesses you will always eventually guess right. All this psychic stuff... I don't understand why anyone in their right mind would buy into it. But hey, they are making money from it. And to them it's all that matters. False hope is always highly valued. |

| 819855 | 2009-10-12 19:45:00 | There is one thing worse than psychics and thats **** for brains people who believe in them. They have never solved one crime in NZ yet numbnuts people and sometimes even the feds give them credence. |

| 819858 | 2009-10-12 20:40:00 | Reports of how the drain/pipe was checked vary. Was a remote tv camera feed through it from one end to the other? Was it so blocked with debris that a body could not be seen? Who replaced the lid/cover back on the gully trap/man hole? So many questions? So many answers :( |
