Although I hope he's never let around another child again Well, I can only say that there are an awful lot of "retards' out there that have, and will not ever commit such an atrocity. But for those that do, where is the millstone? Like Sweep, I find discussions of sentencing for criminal offending are usually pointless when based merely on sketchy details. But if a thread relates to a common problem, which is New Zealand-based and currently newsworthy, it at least gives members the chance to express their opinions. And depending on our own particular prejudices, we can see which of those are sensible & which are one-eyed rants from people with too much time on their hands... But why on earth would it matter what anyone in a country of 4 million people thinks about one weird & isolated case in a country of (???) million people? Funny ocurrences are a different matter, but these cases are called Oddstuff, even in the US. Yes, I know Chat is for everything. And yes, I know I didn't have to read it. (I expect Google will link it with Press F1 somewhere, giving many more that doubtful privilege) |
