I would like to go back to what I had before.

It matters not in any event as a number of people fail to observe the road rules anyway.

Melbourne has since got rid of the rule but in New Zealand attempts to also revoke, supported by Ministry of Transport, Minister of Transport Safety, police, local government, Institute of Professional Engineers, cycling groups, and the AA, have been voted down by Cabinet as "too hard for the public to cope with".

Thanx for the feedback. There was no problem in 1977 setting up the current left turn giveway in 1977 but I guess the motoring population has been so dumbed down these days that even a small change like this is way too hard to understand. Imagine if some one suggested to switch to rite side driving..
