820034 2009-10-13 20:38:00 Could you change your name by adding a title as Christian name?
for example say Count Volts, Baron Sweep, Lord Greg Andrews would that be breaking the law.

That's a brilliant idea!

It shouldn't be breaking the law, but it would appear on your passport under first name. I think there is a law or something regarding that you can't name kids something that will cause them to be abused etc by others... Like Adolf Hitler Jackson or whatever, but you can pretty much call yourself whatever you like.

Archbishop Prefect ;)

820036 2009-10-13 21:44:00 I think Archbishop that you may find you cannot register a name which appears to confer a title, such as Count, Sir, Lord or even Archbishop. :p Richard (739)
820037 2009-10-13 21:59:00 Being a hater of christian and all religions for that matter archbishop wouldnt feature on my radar for name change.
Count probably outta there as well because people are sure going to misconstrue the name to something else.
Baron has a nice ring to it, add in a von and I am sure would pull in the chicks.
Baron von Prefect yes but my German hating uncles and aunties might have a thing to say about it.

Oh dear.

A guess means nothing in my opinion.

People have a guess at a Lotto result every week.

Most seem to be wrong.
