| 819418 | 2009-10-12 00:00:00 | We have access to fibre here at our shop but Telstra Clear don't seem interested in getting back to me when I have tried contacting them to get pricing etc. I did see demo by one of the guys from Northpower, who own the fibre, and it was :drool |

So the Fibre Optic's must be for ADSL2+?....or are we talking LAN speeds? Edit - I can see a business case for a ESX Host at home is the garage for DR......with site replication!!!....LMAO |

| 819420 | 2009-10-12 00:15:00 | I wonder if you gave one of the guys a weeks supply of Beer if he'd hook up your house on the sly ;) No but seriously, TelstraClear did Fibre down in Avondale about 12-18 months back, its fibre-to-the-kerb, however they only offer ADSL *off* of that, simply using the fibre as its backbone ... ? I could be wrong thou :-/ |

It might be backhaul lines in preparation for the cabinet rollout next year, or to provide additional data capacity for XT. Is there a school or hospital nearby that they could be running fibre to? |
