1113586 2010-06-25 09:42:00 I've been getting the same two threats with Spyware Terminator for some months now, where it reports the remnants of a Trojan.ExOptions.Gen remaining in the registry, in egui.exe and ekrn.exe. Some web pages says it's a false positive, other say nay, repair the registry. What do you guys think and how do one do it? Obviously ST can't remove it automatically.

XP SP3, and only Spyware Terminator picks up the files - nothing on Malwarebytes, Superantispyware, Spybot or Nod32.

1113588 2010-06-25 10:27:00 Its a false positive - seen it many times, even on brand new Installs.

When Spyware terminator does its scan you have to tell it to ignore those two in the future.

They are part of Nod32 antivirus.

1113589 2010-06-25 11:11:00 All you do to ignore them, is once finished, select them, down the bottom click on the button saying " Move to" select ignore. wainuitech (129)
1113590 2010-06-25 18:17:00 Thanks Wanuitech. I thought so too, that's why I did not bother with it before.
