1113525 2010-06-25 06:02:00 Can anybody help please. Recently acquired the above camera and have tried to download and install Picture Motion Browser on my computer. The original disk has been lost. I have followed the instructions from the Sony site for preparing to download ie camera connected to PC via USB. Computer recognizes the hardware and says device is working correctly. However the camera says it is connecting and hangs as that point and doesn't go any further. On the original screen it does show a flashing indicator that suggests that No memory stick is inserted. Would this be the cause of the problem? Does anyone know where I could get a copy or a replacement of the original installation disk. All help appreciated :) smurf (6545)
1113526 2010-06-25 06:18:00 Here (esupport.sony.com). Download the files then burn them to cd. What version of windows is it? Speedy Gonzales (78)
1113527 2010-06-25 22:59:00 Hi Speedy, Thanks for that. have already been there. Cant burn the files as they are packaged into an exe. file but when I try to open what happens is what previously described. It is though the camera is not connected and yet it is...go figure :) smurf (6545)
1113528 2010-06-25 23:13:00 You can burn anything to cd, including exe files. Just double click on them to run them after. Try another USB cable Speedy Gonzales (78)
