| 1113533 | 2010-06-26 06:54:00 | Hey, is there a way to do this? :D I don't understand what you are asking... Do you want to buy a PC Speaker or is yours just not working? If the game supports PC speaker sound it should work fine in anything from DOS to XP. If it's expecting a 'real' soundblaster card you may hear nothing depending on configuration. Not sure about Vista or Windows 7 though. |

| 1113538 | 2010-06-26 22:30:00 | With my old laptop - the PC Speaker sound does come, but it is not as good as the good old days when they had a real PC Speaker attahced to the computer case :p More modern desktop PCs have done away from the PC Speaker afaik? I will have to try it out with my PC but a bit hard on Windows 7 cos I need to repartition it as FAT 32 (if required). Given that my P3 lappie and my homd made P4 PC do not have a real PC Speaker attached, getting DOS drivers for their "sound cards" could be near impossible. |
