| 1113180 | 2010-06-24 22:29:00 | Hi, I have been running windows 7 for some time. Recently upon booting I get to the Welcome screen and then it goes to blank booting through to the desktop. However the pc seems to stop booting through to the desktop and nothing happens. Because of the time it takes and nevers boots through to the desktop I turn it off wait a few seconds and then turn it on again. Usually by the 3rd attempt it manages to load. Can anyone advise what my problem may be? |

| 1113189 | 2010-06-24 23:49:00 | I had an XP startup problem which turned out to be failing memory - it didn't like cold mornings I ran a memory test boot disc and could see the errors get less as the machine warmed up |
