Crop off telecom, remove background and the basically turquoise 6 pointed star shape isn't too bad as an icon. :)

821222 2009-10-20 05:26:00 I think they copied the new Dowse Art Gallery (http://www.dowse.org.nz/) logo...

Funnily enough, the same company done both the Dowse Art Gallery logo and the new Telecom logo.

It must have been done by 'the scribble guy'. I have seen more and more logos that are made up of scribbles. I have just seen one of a ball scribble. I don't however see how they can trademark a scribble, or an * symbol.

821225 2009-10-20 22:46:00 Hey pcuserwinvista, your pics got used in a big write up over on Brand New (www.underconsideration.com) (a blog on corporate brand identity work). Good bit of discussion amongst those interested in the design industry. sal (67)

821227 2009-10-21 03:16:00 I think it looks good but I don't know how good it is for a company like Telecom.

It's more like the kind of thing Microsoft would put as the icon on a CAD program

It was a barrier that the logo was on. :p
