Thought of bagging a few cyclists for the pot on the way to Henderson at 7:15 in the morning, but it is just too easy, no sport in it. 27 of them between Glenfield and the end of the old Upper Harbour route, 3 were using the cycle lane. The rest seemed to have adopted all the tar sealed bit as their lane, except where they had to get into the cycling lane to pass the joggers. No wonder the lycrats want the driving test toughened up and registration increased. Maybe we could raise them as high as cycling standards?

821496 2009-10-17 22:09:00 3 mugs of coffee and pancakes with fake maple syrup for breakfast.

Stunning stuff.

Glad I passed on the pie when I was down the shop buying milk earlier.

What, Vegemite, oatmeal, chamomile and limeflower all mixed in a bowl? ;)

(Actually, a formal four course dinner mixed in a bucket like that does not look too appetising. John Patterson did it apparently at some stately occasion and caused a bit of nausea at the table. In view of the formality of the occasion, he did put each course served to him in a SILVER bucket before hoisting it onto the table and stirring it with a flourish as people were part way through the dessert. I wish I had thought of it.)

821503 2009-10-17 22:51:00 What, Vegemite, oatmeal, chamomile and limeflower all mixed in a bowl? ;)Yuck no, just the vegemite & porridge were mixed. The chamomile & limeflower tea was in a separate mug, to be sipped slowly after consuming the porridge. Erayd (23)
