If you happen to have a deal with another Telco (Or even themselves), you can't expect that you will always be able to get that back after your trial. The $88 is likely a part-month charge now you've started off with them again. While your post doesn't make 100% sense, it seems as though you're on a post-paid plan yes? In which case it likely is the base fees for the part-month and the fees in advance for the upcoming month. I'm not entirely sure the logic behind it, but from what I can gather that's how it works for my homeline with them. Restoring you to your former status, I dunno there. Perhaps with respect to the fact you wouldn't have had to pay any money for the trial, but with respect to old plans, I doubt it. I know I'm on a "Double your minutes" plan that they were promoting earlier at the start of the year. If I change, even to something more expensive, I potentially still won't even have the same amount of included minutes per-month. Which begs the next question, why ditch XT? |

| 1113576 | 2010-07-22 04:53:00 | You misunderstand. I sought and received assurance that I would be able to revert to my existing plan at the existing monthly cost. It's supposed to be a "risk free" trial, not a "maybe we'll charge you more if you don't like it" trial. And as to why ditch XT, you obviously haven't read my original post. It was inferior. |

When they say that they can revert you, all they can do is cancel your accounts with them and refund any costs incurred (To a certain degree), but if for example you have come across from Vodafone, they can't assure you that you'll be able to get your old plan back. There is *never* any assurance you'll be able to get your old plan back when you change, regardless of who your provider is or what your service is, be it a Telco, Gym Membership, anything. It's common knowledge. Also, reading your previous post, the throughput seems acceptable to say the least. To me it appears as though your PC is causing the "delays", and not your internet connection. You might want to give them another try after having thoroughly cleaned out your PC, as the CDMA network with Telecom will be gone in < 24 months from what I understand. |
