822858 2009-10-22 02:55:00 Interestingly though, I don't think MS has changed the activation 'strategy' from Vista. But I'm 100% legit here, so I'm not keen to try any Vista cracks on 7.

All I've seen is that the slmgr --rearm command still works, as I have tried sysprepping several VMs and physical PCs with 7 - and yes the same image works across different hardware if you want to know :)

822859 2009-10-22 03:04:00 I already had a legit key, still waitin on that disk. For those of you who paid for vista I sympathise. MS should be giving you keys before anything goes on sale hueybot3000 (3646)

822861 2009-10-22 03:43:00 Still thinking about it. My Vista Home Premium does seem to be running rather nicely at the moment and meeting all of my know needs.

822863 2009-10-22 04:15:00 I just got Mine - Win 7 Enterprise Edition for Free

One of the few perks for working at MS. Even if this version got somehow pirated MS will never blacklist this key coz all the PC running in MS campus in Redmond would then go kaput

822865 2009-10-22 06:22:00 It's not exactly difficult for a company to push out a new volume key to a truckload of PC's, if you're in-the-know...

Anyway, already got RTM running on a few machines, stoaked with it :)
