| 1114630 | 2010-06-29 23:56:00 | Hey guys, building a PC on a tight budget (upto $700.00) So far I have the following: AMD Athlon II X2 240 2.9Ghz Processor Kingston DDR2-800 RAM (1x2GB) Gigabyte GA-MA74GM-S2 Motherboard Thermaltake Xaser V 8000A E-ATX case Seagate Barracuda 500GB HDD (16MB cache, 7200rpm) Silverstone Strider Essential 400W PSU (pretty sure it has modular cabeling) The total for this I've worked out to be about $630.00 Notes: Already have a monitor Already have a dvd burner already have a GS8400 1GB GPU Can anyone have a look, see if they could possibly do it for cheaper? Or suggest any upgrades/faults with what I have so far.. Cheers heaps |

I personally think it looks crap! :p Something like this (pbtech.co.nz) is more than adequate, but if you want something that looks a bit flasher i'd recommend almost anything over the thermaltake, examples here (www.computerlounge.co.nz) and here (www.computerlounge.co.nz). |

| 1114637 | 2010-06-30 01:11:00 | Each to their own with the case. WoW isn't too intensive on the graphics...but even with that card things aren't going to be super smooth. |
