| 1114542 | 2010-06-29 21:18:00 | I did the upgrade version from XP to 7 and ended up with a Windows Old folder. As said above check that there is not anything you want in it then delete it. If the delete option won't work use diskcleanup to remove it. :) |

It can be deleted BUT if there was anything that you want to keep such as photos, documents, downloads etc, you should copy these into a folder of your choosing in Win7 first. | Bryan (147) | ||

Best practice to format the hard drive before installing Windows 7, however, if you dont have a spare drive for your docs, its a great way to save dos for the new o/s |
