1113805 2010-06-27 05:13:00 ok. i've put the old hard drive that was in the compaq presario v2000 to copy some of my files to my usb so i can put them on the new drive.

are the installations for hp dvd play and the other software alike on the hard drive? its still got its factory install

1113811 2010-06-27 06:33:00 Blimey that wasn't exactly hard -- Did a google search for "HP DVD Play" and The first result (h10025.www1.hp.com) Quite often they say updates, when in fact its the whole program. Or the second result that looks like an another version (h10025.www1.hp.com) its only 77MB where the other one is 81.6MB wainuitech (129)

As per what Trev said - look on google, there are several.
are the installations for hp dvd play and the other software alike on the hard drive? its still got its factory install As long as you have not wiped the drive then normally they are, in a hidden folder.
