My request for a copy of the disk is simply because to use the download software I have to overcome the problem of the connection of the camera to the computer, whereas if the computer is recognising the camera's connection then the problem is with the online software. smurf (6545)
1113725 2010-06-26 08:25:00 Dont think so. The software on the cd will be the same as whats online. The online version maybe a later version that what was on the CD.

Windows will recognise the camera, since its plugged into a USB port. It'll probably still work without the software. So what version of windows is installed? If Vista or win 7 is it 32 or 64 bit?

1113726 2010-06-26 10:33:00 U need to use fire wire kuz I had the same prob but solved it by using a FireWire connector. USB doesn't work for some reason even with driver. FireWire is great. dagangsta (14229)

It doesnt have a firewire connection. It would be better to use it if it had it
