| 1113714 | 2010-06-26 04:00:00 | I am currently trying to install iATKOS 7 on my HP Pavilion DV5 (1009ax) to an external HDD (WD 640gb USB 3 partitions 2x NTFS and one 11.7gb Mac Extended) I am able to boot the DVD, install Leopard to the 11.7gb partition and get to the windows boot loader. from there I enter Chameleon and boot from the external however this is where the problems start, I get a grey screen with the apple logo on it but thats it, running -x -v -f (safe mode, diagnostic start and force driver reload does nothing). 2x (out of over 15 installs) I have managed to get somewhere the first time It didnt recognize my keyboard and the second time It began to load but froze on a Realtech Ethernet driver (now i dont install this because it seems to be part of the problem) Does any one know what I might be doing wrong? Thanks for any help |

| 1113715 | 2010-06-26 04:09:00 | I assume you realise that iATKOS is not legal software? It's a modified version of Apple's OSX, targeted at systems which OSX isn't licensed for. 5) Subject Matter: Asking for, or giving advice on how to pirate software will not be tolerated. This includes posting links to sites where Warez, no-CD hacks, keygens etc can be found. This also covers advice on how to illegally gain access to a commercial service, such as Sky TV. Users are also not allowed to share, discuss or promote sites containing pirated movies and apps, or how to download and burn these pirated movies. |
