List the date visited, store/location, brand, number of PCs you saw running the OS and, if possible, any OEM customisations you saw. Lets start the ball rolling: 23 October 2009: DSE (Wellington - Featherson St): Dell, 2 laptops, Dell-customised logon/ Ctrl+Alt+Del screen (although not Dell branded!). DSE even had all the W7 and banners out! In this store I did my bit for promoting Win7 - on a mac I opened up Word and typed 'I'm a PC and Windows 7 was my idea' JB Hifi (Lambton Quay) Absolutely NO Win PCs on display. again, they also had the Win7 banners out. interestingly, they did not have any retail boxes for the OS. Quay Computers (Wellington): All desktops on display So, have you seen any Win7 PCs in the wild? |
