823320 2009-10-23 05:42:00 I have bought travel ins with Mike Henry on two occasions and both times have made a claim. First time in 2004. In the USA I had to have emergency dental treatment which cost $350 US and then when my luggage was pilfered at LA Airport in 2006. Both times when I made my claim they paid up 100%. Never, ever go to America without insurance!

Be careful that you include pre existing conditions, migraine, heart things etc.

have used them on many occasions. gives you a quote on line.

As for paying for travel insurance with a credit card, it must be a gold or platinum card. Most require 80% or more of your travel purchased with the card. Ring the credit card company for a insurance policy.

Warehouse has reasonable travel if your just going to the Pacific/Australia.

823322 2009-10-23 07:04:00 In 2005 I had a bump on the head in Paris, hospitalised in Paris for 5 days, then returned to England, subsequent complications that required major surgery in England for subdural heamatoma. 2 weeks hospital in England, major need to reschedule entire holiday with loss of deposits etc. Total insurance claim was over $92,000 NZ dollars. No quibble or hesitation in paying the claim to Paris Hospital, English hospital (NHS did not apply since accident was in Paris). And the insurer was Southern Cross.

Guess who I recommend.
