| 1114621 | 2010-06-29 23:14:00 | Hi folks I have been reading through Windows Vista forums and came across "How to Clear Vista Temporary Files in the Temp Folder". It was suggested to manually clear the Temp folder you open the Start Menu and in the start search area you type %temp% and press enter. This resulted in a list ( I estimate about 450) of I presume temp files, starting from a couple in 2001 through till yesterday. These included items in Word, emails and other stuff. Now I use Disk clean up and Crap cleaner on a regular basis. A couple of questions - (1) I presume it is safe to delete this list and (2) Why are they still showing even after using Disk clean up and C/C regularly?? Smithie |

| 1114624 | 2010-06-29 23:32:00 | When you install files, the install extracts its files into the temp folder. Then it installs. Thats what I mean. So if you remove temp files with ccleaner, then install files, or use any browsers after, the temp folder will fill up again | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||

| 1114628 | 2010-06-30 00:59:00 | 98?? You shouldnt get any 98 files, if you did a clean install of Win7. It doesnt matter what browser you use. Most use a cache and most store temp files on the hdd | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
