| 824170 | 2009-10-25 23:00:00 | Why would anyone (with an ounce of sense) "dump" everything and move to a completely different OS? OK, data can easily be transferred, but most people I know have a huge investment in software that works on a Windows OS that would not transfer to a Mac OS . Aside from the fact that Macs are overpriced chunks of shiny plastic to start with, having to buy replacement programs or suites of programs is my primary reason for not even considering a change . . . Hell, I'm not even going to upgrade to Win7 until the price becomes reasonable (or a buy a new laptop) . |

As far as software was concerned, I use all freeware software or its supplied by work . There is not much paid software that can't be replaced with free . This goes for windows and mac . I would have to say the freeware software on the nac side is top notch |

| 824177 | 2009-10-27 05:28:00 | Finally !! Something Metla and I can agree on. 99.9% of tv is crap and not worth watching. As for the Mac ads, there are a bit lame, but at least they get noticed. And if imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, check out this page, and don't forget to scroll down..see what Dell is up to www.electricpig.co.uk |
