| 1115432 | 2010-07-02 10:46:00 | Is it possible to display the originals of 2 different photos side by side at the same time in Windows Photo Gallery (Vista OS), so as to compare them with each other with the objective of just keeping the best one & ditching the other?? If it can't be done in Windows Photo Gallery, does anyone know of a reliable free software viewer that one can drawdown from the web that has this feature? Many thanks for your input. |

| 1115433 | 2010-07-02 12:21:00 | You could try a free dual folder viewer for explorer, but you may have to copy/rename your photo's/folders to achieve comparison. I used folder box (rbytes.net) a few years back, and their is also q-dir. (www.softwareok.com) But need to try them for suitability or read reviews. | kahawai chaser (3545) | ||
| 1115434 | 2010-07-02 19:36:00 | I use Picasa (free from Google) for all my photos. It will display as many pics as you want at the same time in the main viewer. You then click on an individual photo to crop etc. Should do what you want. Yep, there is a slider near the bottom left to adjust the number of pics. Looks like 6 is the smallest number. Your mileage may vary.... :D |

If its only 1 photo to compare, open the picture twice with the inbuilt Windows photo viewer (or what ever its called in Vista) Example (www.imagef1.net.nz).
