| 1114729 | 2010-06-30 06:44:00 | Help!! since moving to the DGN1000 from my old Dlink modem I have been having issues surrounding my speed!! When plugged in via the ethernet cord I will get fairly decent download speeds (10.52 Mb/s from speedtest.net) but as soon as I am using wireless my speeds drop to around 3.00Mb/s on a good day and as low as 0.30Mb/s on a normal day. Does anyone know why this might be the case I personally have never seen this before! |

| 1114730 | 2010-06-30 21:10:00 | The speed of a wireless connections is dependent on the signal strength of your connection. Poor adapters, range, signal interference from other devices all affect it. Their FAQ: Will DGN1000 work with my current wireless products? It is recommended that you upgrade your Wireless-G based notebooks and Desktops to Wireless-N by using a Wireless-N Adapter. See the troubleshooting Guide: kb.netgear.com |
