825054 2009-10-29 05:39:00 So how do I get rid of the bit I have highlighted in yellow?

I have tried changing the width element from 170 to 165,

forums.pcworld.co.nz##TD[width="170"][align="center"]to

forums.pcworld.co.nz##TD[width="165"][align="center"]

but it didn't seem to make a difference...

Am I changing the wrong bit?

What do you have in your address bar?
Forums.pcworld.co.nz? pressf1.pcworld.co.nz or other?

Your blocker needs to be adjusted to reflect that.

Edit:
Erm, what browser are you using?

FF 3.5.4

825057 2009-10-29 06:35:00 Johcar, looks like you're running a rather old version of the CSS, that line hasn't been in it for quite a while. Grab the latest lot from here (pressf1.co.nz) and remove all other styles you currently have applied to PressF1. Instructions on how to apply it are here (pressf1.co.nz). Erayd (23)
825058 2009-10-29 06:56:00 Erayd, just done getting the script to activate and I have no ad's at all. I installed an older version of Stylish and it works.

Heres the version I'm using
addons.mozilla.org

Thanks for taking the time to create the script.

825059 2009-10-29 07:58:00 That's great . Thanks for testing and reporting back, it's good to know that it works with older versions.

Which version of Firefox are you running? That will have far more of an impact than your Stylish version.

825060 2009-10-29 08:29:00 Which version of Firefox are you running?

I'm using Firefox 2.0

I had the most recent version of Firefox installed but it kept crashing, so I downgraded to 2.0 and have had no problems in ages.

In actual fact I had dumped Stylish and was using Adblock Plus and Element Hiding Helper.

I have now deleted all my previous Element Hiding Helper rules and reselected the elements I wanted 'disappeared', and the Forum almost looks normal again. Just can't seem to permanently get rid of the Search function - no big deal.

It works an awful lot better than the one built into vbulletin.
