825132 2009-10-29 08:02:00 I,m 42 and text speak is for the illiterate in society no wonder the government were banging on about reading and math since all the kids can't spell. I can and do read text speak I just choose to ignore it mostly and it is definitely slower to decipher text speak. I have no problem with people using text speak so long as it is on their phone and not on places like this forum gary67 (56)

825134 2009-10-29 08:14:00 Queen Street is a hell of alot easier to read than that text message. Also, if you cannot see any part of the road while reading the sign in the video, I suggest you either get glasses, or learn to read before you're underneath it.

edit: and Hilarious? Once you're done with that, go stare at a bus stop.

like i said to the other dude. your speaking for yourself. queen street and cming hme are the same to me. none is harder than the other to me.

and we already do things in the car where you don't see part of the road in front of you. when you change lanes you are supposed to check your blindspot by turning your neck around so it's facing the back passenger window. are you telling me you do not check your blindspot when changing lanes?

by the way, when i text i hold the cellphone near the top of the steering wheel so i can see part of the road while looking at my cellphone screen at the same time. i do not put the cellphone on my lap.

Apples and oranges.

Doesn't matter. Your concentration is off the road.

825136 2009-10-29 08:31:00 One wonders what sort of video(??) would be classed as sad.
One where the troll got knocked off the bridge?

you've just made a point then unmade your point.

apples and oranges is correct. But like you also said, concentration is off the road. checking blindspot may be apples and oranges but your still concentrating on the blindspot and not on the road straight ahead.

It appears you are speaking for yourself, rather than me speaking for myself, judging by the comments made here.

By the way, I don't drive. I have also been hit by someone who happened be on the cellphone (calling, not texting) at the time they were driving over a pedestrian crossing. God knows what would have hapened if they were texting.

Also. cming hme just sounds wierd. More like you mistakenly added a letter. Me Coming?

Are you an idiot?

Well, next time you're on the motorway and want to change lanes, do me a favor and don't check your blindspot. Hopefully there IS a car in your blindspot. Hopefully that car belongs to a gang member too.

And please learn to distinguish the difference between your and you're.

825140 2009-10-29 08:52:00 Clearly the OP is too young to drive ... Chilling_Silence (9)
825141 2009-10-29 17:57:00 And too young to be out of nappies. Pity the police aren't getting the power to crush the phone, the car AND the idiot drivers who text and drive gary67 (56)
