Have you? Any moderately powered AWD or RWD is capable of that. The first thing to go would be the diffs, his car is heavily modified to withstand shocks of this nature. www.youtube.com That shows you how easy it is. Like I said, nothing special all, and if you are a half way competent driver you could do the same with a few days practice. With the roll cages these guys have, the WRC has seen crashes into trees etc at epic speeds or going off clifs is one thing but doing it in a closed controlled area doesn't give it sense of courage. If you can drive a manual and want to learn to drive this way, there are a number of "drift instructors" all over the country, I think they go between 300-600$, I suggest you go to one of those and see how easy it is, in a safe closed off area, for yourself. |
