825654 2009-10-30 10:21:00 Mine is probably an average of about a year old, but I keep upgrading things, so it's hard to put a real figure on it. Erayd (23)

I figure its probably best defined by the age of your motherboard.

I'd consider both my PC's to be of similar vintage, Though the one that runs the Home Theatre has never been ungraded (and never will be, I'd guess what it gets used for uses about 1/20th of its capabilities), While the one I do my video editing on has been bumped up to 3Gb of ram, had a few video cards, numerous hard drives, an optical drive or three, 2 PSU's,firewire cards,TV cards.....

Which in itself demonstrates the versatility and capabilities of the Windows Platform:banana

825656 2009-10-30 10:40:00 Main rig (well only rig really): Acer Aspire 5520 lappie, brought about Aug 08 I think.

Still gets the job done despite the notable handicap of running vista (though I've gotten rid of Aero - PITA).

Dual core, 2GHz AMD Turion, 2Gb RAM. Want to bump up to 4Gb but since it only came with 32 bit vista there's no point really, unless I hack the kernel.

I use it for a bit of everything, but mostly it's an internet surfer/downloader/occasional server/video center. I've also put it through hell generating rainbow tables for days on end. Quite frankly I'm surprised it doesn't explode - speedfan sometimes tells me it's hitting 70+ (and that's on a hard surface.).
