825301 2009-10-29 13:07:00 I don't understand why people would follow such a man...

So much for faith in fellow man.

It's scary... On that series Fear Itself, when a guy tries to leave a community he ends up having his legs amputated...

I wonder if it's the same when you try and leave the Destiny Church...

Plenty of sane people follow Dictators around the world they just tend to initially have have a certain gift with rhetoric that stirs the emotions and once they have dragged them in then the brain washing part starts

825307 2009-10-29 18:15:00 What I would like to know is whether the perpetrators of such pseudo religous bile (ie Tamaki himself) honestly believe what they are saying. Is he deluded, or is he a plotting dishonest schemer? Whichever the case, it borders on evil. Paul.Cov (425)

But Adolf Hitler and his gang did do a lot. As did Lenin, Stalin, Napoleon, hell even Churchill to an extent or even George Patton.

And were it not for Hitler's favoritism for von Kluge, Moscow would have fallen and with it the Soviet Union. This would have happened before Pearl Harbor, so Germany would not have had to declare war on America, (who hoped declaring war on America would push the Japs to declare war on the Soviets); and this would have allowed reinforcement to the Afrika Korps and the imminent defeat of the British. He was nearly emperor of Europe in his own right. That's a massive transformation of Germany.
(I am not a nazi in any way shape or form, but I can't deny what the man achieved in his career)

Stalin and Lennin turned the Soviet Union from a bunch of poor peasants into perhaps the greatest and most Empire in the history, second only to the American Empire.
Napoleon had Europe at it's knees.

The problem with religious nutters is that people believe in them baselessly believe someone because of "God" and moreso hypocracy. All the nuts I have mentioned before were of an ideology of a better place here and now, with action. Not asking some crazy ass who claims to have god speaking to him, contrary of everything his own religion preaches in the first place. And people actually believe in this supernatural nonsense.
Sure, believe in the Pope, does the pope come to you and asks you for money? Does he ask for some crazy oath of allegiance? Demanding to shower him with gifts, etc?

I don't like religious fanaticism, this leads to radical racial crap and all the other superior elite in their own world and then pour it out.
People stupid enough to buy into him and his preaching deserve whatever they get. It's occult, it's scary how much power that man wields.
I can actually see Tamaki getting elected in within the next two elections.

Does anyone know the demographics of the Destiny Church membership roll? Is he targeting certain peoples, or is he after everyone?
