825034 2009-10-28 22:52:00 No what I mean how do I make the forum appear wider without the ad on the left gone?

This what is looks like now
www.imagef1.net.nz

Ah sorry, use AdblockPlus with the element hiding helper. Select the side bit, and tick the width parameter. Done.

Google Custom Search is working 100% here, it's great!

825036 2009-10-28 22:55:00 Using Stylish for Firefox I've changed

td[width="170"], /*left ads*/

To

td[width="165"], /*left ads*/

And I've blocked the PF1 logo at pcworld.co.nz using Adblockplus.

825041 2009-10-29 00:03:00 Buggery and all that, love the new search though! :D

*puppy eyes* Erayd?
I'm working on it, stand by. The new search is an utter travesty (although it does work well) - see attached image, I'm cleaning it up at the moment.

Doesn't Google have a policy about how many ad boxes are allowed on one page?

825042 2009-10-29 00:13:00 www.google.com

AdSense for content: Up to three ad units and three link units may be placed on each page.
AdSense for search: A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed per page. Also, a single link unit or a search box, but no other Google ads, may be placed on pages with AdSense for search results. Queries must originate from users inputting data directly into the search box and cannot be modified. This includes pre-populating the search box with terms or hard-coding direct links to search results pages. AdSense for search code may not be integrated into any software application such as a toolbar.

I only see two. One in the header, one to the left?

825043 2009-10-29 00:21:00 If you turn off all your ad-blocking, you'll see four - as per my screenshot. Erayd (23)
