It is, in fact. Ascent have it.

They do indeed!

Looks tempting. But I'd rather not spend that much on software:p

824776 2009-10-28 07:51:00 Why would you have to change all 3? Change the one with the iffy copy of Win XP. leave the others alone.

And in any case, you have been using it happily all this time, so why assume now it's dodgy?

Good points. In fact I only do want to change the one computer.
Yes I have been using it (XP) - but happily?
Since I discovered it was not what I had paid for I have been a bit "unhappy" with it. For a start Microsoft drew my attention to the fact it was iffy and since then I have "optioned" it to not accept any updates from MS.
If I accept updates than apparently all sorts of dreadful things can happen both to it and me.
Plus the fact that I am normally too honest for my own good.

One alternative is to buy a new computer of course but I reckon SWMBO would be slightly put out by that just now.

if you are referring to the OEM 3 Pack thats NOT the family pack.

OEM can be purchased in various packs, 1, 3, 50 , 100 etc.

The 3 pack will simply be 3 single user licenses, for 3 different PC's - NOT like the 3 user Home and Student that office have.

Have a read at Geekzone (www.geekzone.co.nz) - Nathan From Microsoft - I think he would know better than ascent.
