1115078 2010-07-01 20:53:00 I am having strange behaviour in Internet Explorer 8 which I think is a virus but can't seem to find it. I ran the virus checker and it found and removed some and now shows clean when I run it again.

The problem is that something seems to interfere when I browse. If try to type any address that is for a virus checker it comes up saying the Webpage cannot be displayed. All other sites seem fine. I cannot do updates on my virus checker because it says it cannot connect regardless of which virus checker i load, It randomly opens an IE window with a Google search for antivrus software.

Can anyone point me in the right direction so that i can get rid of this.

1115079 2010-07-01 21:08:00 Your PC is more than likely still infected with either some sort of Virus or Malware thats one reason why it not allowing any sites to load that have cures (common symptoms).

You can try the following on your PC or Do you have another PC, if so from my sig, download Malwarebytes, Spybot and super antispyware -- Install and run in full scan modes.

Other wise Click on this link (www.filehippo.com 115ad71a64e1cc/) -- Its a direct Download of malwarebytes, install it, update, and run in full scan mode, remove anything it finds. Also run trojan Remover (www.simplysupersoft.com) << Direct Download.

Also-- run Hijackthis (www.trendmicro.com) -- run it, select save a copy, post back the complete log it produces.
