| 1116008 | 2010-07-05 02:44:00 | Hi All, I have being trying to update my version of avira 10 personal, but it keeps saying it can't start the update, with the reason being blank (though on one occasion it did say the reason in chinese, and some other strange symbols as well). Can anyone help? Helensun |

| 1116011 | 2010-07-05 09:25:00 | I had trouble with an Avira Update from 9 t 10 on one machine. I simply removed and reinstalled and all was fine. | AvonBill (11358) | ||
| 1116012 | 2010-07-05 22:04:00 | Avira Personal is free right? I'd dump it and get MSSE. The problem I have with MSSE is that it's not configurable at all. You can't change when it will download updates for example. While that's great for the vast masses, it's not a feature I want. It does look a slick product though & by all accounts works very well. As for the Avira problem - uninstall v9 & install v10 as mentioned earlier. |
