1115666 2010-07-04 02:58:00 Got this the other day (pricespy.co.nz). Not from that site tho. The PSU goes on the bottom of the case

It came with 2 blue LED 120mm fans. And I installed a 120mm on the top

I decided to use the old case, for the mobo I brought from Cyabro (just have to get a hdd, and maybe a card reader for it). I'll take 4 GB of ram out of this, and chuck in it.

Obviously, the connections on normal PSU's are too short to reach the mobo / and cant be hidden (when you connect dvd's hdd's up). So, what PSU would you recommend (the connections will have to be long)

Its a 2.8 dual core with not much in it at the mo (card reader / vidcard, ram and hdd).

1115667 2010-07-04 03:11:00 How about a modular? I'm guessing you can get longer cables for them but haven't looked gary67 (56)
1115668 2010-07-04 03:33:00 Hmm good point Gary. Umm just have find one thats not too expensive (hopefully). Thats what I found when I connected the old PSU to this. The ATX 4 pin was too short. I had to go back to the shop, and they gave me an extn for it. Otherwise, it wouldnt be going now.. And this PSU has only got one SATA power. I'll probably need more. I know you can get SATA/molex adapters, but IMO, they're crappy Speedy Gonzales (78)

1115670 2010-07-04 03:52:00 OK. How about this one? (dtconline.co.nz) 450W should be enough shouldnt it?? I'm not planning on buying the most expensive PSU around.

The PSU atm, is a 460W. But the connections are way too short. Even tho its a gaming case, I have no games  Probably wont install any either

1115673 2010-07-04 04:58:00 I think the length of the 4 (or 8) pin CPU power is a problem on all PSU's, especailly a full tower with psu in the bottom hueybot3000 (3646)
1115674 2010-07-04 05:04:00 The 24 pin power wasnt a prob, the 4 pin ATX was. It was short by about 2-3 cm. It would fit, but it stretched. I had to go back and ask for an extension, so I could plug it in. So, I could use it. Nice case tho.. Lots of air to go through it. And quiet.

Pity they didnt think of cable management lol
