When I said this thread was a joke I was referring to the number of immature posts that had to be deleted.

So you are both wrong! :p

This guy bought a HP Pavilion Elite HPE-150f Desktop and the 23 inch monitor and couldnt keep it, brand freaken new. So I went to my buddy and said if I win would you split the cost and he said yes so we did for 611 bucks. He gets my old stuff

1115963 2010-07-08 08:10:00 Id be pretty happy with that, youl seriously want a graphics card now though because it is a huge bottleneck on that grunt hueybot3000 (3646)
1115964 2010-07-09 03:21:00 9800 GTX+ gonna be bad? :(.... what would you suggest maybe a ATI 5830? jcraw (15870)
1115965 2010-07-09 04:02:00 I would suggest an HD5870 if you want some serious power. Agent_24 (57)
1115966 2010-07-09 08:52:00 Yea 5870 = 400 bucks so I'm good. I can cross fire two 5830's and get better performance for the cash really. Thank you for the suggestion though :)
Gonna get the Gigabyte ATI 5830

1115967 2010-07-09 09:35:00 Dont do that, go single 5870. 5830 is too cut down for my liking, at least go 5850 and overclock it to 5870 specs. They are very good cards and way better having one grunty card than compromising with 2 ok cards hueybot3000 (3646)
1115968 2010-07-11 01:02:00 Yea I have been pulling at looking at the 5850, I just dont know going to a 5830 is a big jump as it is.

I use :
www.gpureview.com

to compare and for the 100 bucks I just dont see much diff but between 128 vs 128 and the 5850 with a few extras.

www.gpureview.com

There is a big diff in speed alone. 70 vs 128
