| 1116048 | 2010-07-10 11:38:00 | what if they created an app for the ipod touch/iphone that just was for the forums alone and not the whole site. im sure many would like that |

| 1116050 | 2010-07-11 05:48:00 | Not everyone has an iPod touch / iPhone You don't need to have an iPod Touch / iPhone to enjoy a mobile-specific version. Many times an iPhone-specific version will render well on Windows Mobile devices, Android devices, Blackberries, Palms, and more! I've ditched my iPhone but I still like the idea of a mobile-specific site |

| 1116052 | 2010-07-12 07:47:00 | Ah true. There are apps that allow you to view vBulletin forums on an iPod / iPhone :) | Chilling_Silence (9) | ||

| 1116055 | 2010-07-13 02:08:00 | Here's a bit of a clarification: At the moment when you go to PressF1 on your PC, it looks fine in the browser. If you try going to it on your iTouch / iPhone / Windows Mobile device (Almost anything but Android) it's terrible. OK sure it's *usable* on your iPhone, I posted from mine a few times, but it's a BIG hassle and terribly slow. Whereas if there's a "theme" that automatically detects that you're coming from your mobile device, and it automatically adjust what it displays, that'd be all the more appropriate. For example, I have something on my blog which makes it look better on your iTouch / iPhone / Android / WM Cellphone, so you can still see the whole websites content (And on Android you can even view the Screencasts with Flash), but it's jut displayed in a manner that is a lot more touch-friendly and appropriate for such mobile devices: www.c2s.co.nz Go there from your Cellphone and you should see a mobile-specific version. Go there from your Desktop and you see the regular theme. That's the kind of thing that I'm looking for, for PressF1, and thus far I seem to have FFBG's blessing to pursue it! |
