It might be worth that in theory because it is twice as good as systems selling for half as much, but you will never be able to sell it at that price because it is more than most people need & not good enough for gamers. |

I would say it would be worth up to $500 second hand on trademe. Often selling it in parts you get more money too.. I hope you don't mean it would be worth more if it were a Dell or something. If anything, that would mean it would be worth less. Brand name PCs are for fools. |
