| 826649 | 2009-11-03 00:05:00 | I know that was "tongue in cheek" but why was all the media attention always focussed on him when he was only one of a group of losers? Who remembers the guy that actually hit the pizza man? They were all part of the killing team. In some good states of the us they execute the driver of the getaway vehicle if the crooks have killed someone in a robbery. |

He was 12 when he committed a crime for which he was sentenced to 7 years. He's now 20. You could use some basic maths tutoring if you can't figure out why he's not back in jail. Lol. Fat chance that happening in NZ jail. Three meals a day, exercise areas, TV, playstations, Xboxes, medical care.... LOOK AT ME I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT NZ'S PRISONS. |

| 826655 | 2009-11-03 01:01:00 | Not really, haven't had any first hand experience with them. My father has been a prison officer for a few years now though, so I've heard a few stories. None of which, incidentally, have involved the prisoner's allocated Xbox 360 or Wii being used as a weapon. | roddy_boy (4115) | ||

And if you commit other offences against the law you don't get more time? Conditions were imposed and he was supposed to adhere to them but apparently has not done so. |

Who said anything about consoles being used as weapons? I was comparing the comfortable and assured life in NZ prisons and the state of the country's failing citizen health and education due to lack of money. |
