plug in directly(network cable) & see how reliable your internet & router actually are (may not be a wifi issue?)
get a brand name wifi router
move the router & move the pc around in the rooms to see if you can find a 'sweet spot'
check arials, try moving the aerials orientation
turn the pc 180deg (wifi aerial signal may being blocked by case)
check there isnt any other issues with the PC, turn off hibernation & power saving. Turn off power saving on the PC's wifi card
change wifi channel on the router, change wifi password.

cordless phone, video senders & some cordless mice/keyboards can cause interference causing dropouts.

I have tried powered boosters in the past, but had no luck with them at all ,as yet..(signal was still too marginal).

1116625 2010-07-10 02:30:00 Doesn't sound right, One single unit that does WiFi TV AND Phone? I've heard of ADSL/WiFi systems but not the whole bag. IF that REALLY is the case the see if the router has an option to disable WiFi or broadcast mode and buy a branded router that is compatible with dd-wrt (if you want to use it) or a G+ MIMO router if you don't want to use dd-wrt and plug it into one of the wired LAN ports on your super amazing Phone DSL TV wireless The Error Guy (14052)
