| 1115909 | 2010-07-06 01:05:00 | Just to let everyone know that's replied to my question, I borrowed a new Linksys WAG120n all in one from a friend and it's working fine. Funny thing is, my old D-Link setup which was giving me problems at my place works perfectly at his place. The Linksys doesn't run anywhere near as hot as the D-Link and seems to be quite stable with a better signal strength. Had 2 lappy's and a desktop running off it last night and that included my daughter on Skype to Germany. Software is bloody amazing compared to the old D-Link (even tho you have to buy the Pro version to get all the features) it tells you who uses what in the way of bandwidth and when ..... it wasn't me Dad .... Oh yes it was !! Going to keep it for a couple of weeks and see how it goes while I try to find a friend with a Netcomm NB6Plus4WN to trial. Thanks for all the input peoples ..... |
