My friends at Telecon,regret to inform me that they have to change my Xtra account from Big Time to Pro Broadband.This now means that I can pay $20 more for the huge amount of data that 40 gigs...Lucky lucky me ... time for a new ISP,I think. So where to go ?:confused: |

So where to go ?:confused: IMHO, Slingshot - $49.95 per month (plus $47 for phone) gets you 25Gb, unlimited cap between 2am - 8am, and the ability to bank any extra cap you buy (and extra 5Gb for $10 for example) over into the next month if you don't use it all. Vodafone's deal is ok too. |

| 1117361 | 2010-07-09 04:27:00 | Then go Naked with Slingshot / Orcon. I've heard that Slingshot have been deteriorating lately because of that free after-hours, much like Xnet. On the other hand, with Vodafone, you can top-up and re-buy 30GB for $30, and their $100 plan including home-line is pretty damn hard to beat! |

| 1117363 | 2010-07-09 06:23:00 | I'm with Orcon, I pay quite a bit to get 200GB but I find that I can get pretty good speeds apart from BT which is throttled somewhat during peak hours. However in the last month I DL'd 150GB from steam with an average of 500KB/s any time during the day (saw it peak at 1.1MB/s at one point). So if speed is what your after, Orcon is pretty good, but you have to pay a slight premium for it. |
