Last one I think you need FFD Show for and it is a command line tool

1117193 2010-07-08 19:56:00 I wouldn't say this is 'best', but SUPER is simple enough to use, and packed with options for the more picky power users who are prepared to put more effort and research into their media.

Not so keen on it for NTSC to PAL conversions.

1117194 2010-07-08 21:43:00 Go for Xmedia recode, I use it for everything now.

SUPER is good but it doesn't give much feedback on how long the conversion will take etc.

1117195 2010-07-08 21:46:00 I have used SUPER in the past. Does a good job too. Snorkbox (15764)

I like SUPER but it doesn't work on Win7-64.

SUPER has an excellent facility giving information on a media file. You double click it after dragging it to the main pane. I miss this in Xmedia recode

So I do wonder how I use SUPER on my rig wich uses Win7 64 Pro as the operating system?

I let people use anything they want and works for them.

1117198 2010-07-08 22:38:00 Any video converter is an excellent tool, very simple but with plenty of options just under her skin.

And Windows encoder is (surprise surprise) an excellent tool for encoding to WMV, However it has been replaced by a new version that requires that net crap installed so I haven't yet upgraded.
